INDUSTRY, which includes a hard, addictive beat, and songs like Difference as well as X6 that feature a softer, almost lo-fi beat under deeper, quieter vocals that emphasize the meaning behind his lyrics. He has a stylistic range, with more upbeat songs like his single NEPTUNE VS. I consider the feature on Apple Music’s charts a win for Lucki, despite the pride he has expressed for being successful in “the underground.” It just happens to be featured in one of my favorite songs, Poker Face, where the rapper states, “underground king f*ck your top charts.” The album was a collaboration between Lucki and producer F1lthy, Lucki’s first big release since 2020.
His latest album, Wake Up Lucki, released in early December reached #8 on Apple Music’s top albums chart. Lucki, a Chicago-born rapper, recently started hitting the charts.
